Annika Sorenstam is arguably the greatest female golfer of all time. Sorenstam won 72 LPGA titles, 89 worldwide wins and was awarded the Rolex Player of the Year eight times, a record.
Back in 2003, she became the first female to play in a PGA Tour event since 1945, when another woman on this list became the first to do so. According to her website, she was the first and only female golfer to earn more than $20 million prizes during her career.
