Born in Moscow, Russia, Anna Kournikova received her first tennis racket at the age of five – and immediately started practicing. After appearing in tournaments at the age of nine, talent scouts across the world started taking notice.
Anna signed a management deal as a ten-year-old and moved to America, which is when her career really started. At 21 she retired due to injuries, but not before winning several grand slams and leaving her mark on the tennis world. She is today married to Enrique Iglesias and the two have three children.
