Serena Williams is likely the most obvious name on this list, but we have to salute one of the most talented, driven and successful female athletes of all time.
Serena was talented from the start, beating Martina Hingis in the US Open Final during just her second full year on tour and was only the second African American female to win a singles Grand Slam title. Fast forward a few decades, and at 35 years old Serena has 23 Grand Slam titles, including her latest in Australia, which she won while pregnant.
