Everyone has their own style. It’s what forms their identity and helps set them apart from the crowd. While people often share similarities in their appearance, with stereotypes frequently used to define when someone’s a jock, geek, or goth, we all have something that sets us apart.
When someone spends a long time styling themselves in a particular way, it can be a shock to the system if they decide to switch things up. You’re so used to seeing them one way that you can’t imagine them any other. However, while they say a leopard can’t change its spots, there’s no reason why someone can’t rock a look that’s outside their comfort zone.
That’s precisely what Cheyanne did when it came to her senior prom. Everyone who knew her identified the 18-year-old as a tomboy, primarily because of the way she dressed. The expectation that she should look a certain way inspired Cheyanne to do things a little differently, resulting in an incredible glam-up. Her mom couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw what her daughter had become.

As a tomboy, Cheyanne moved in several social circles, with her love for sports mainly gravitating her towards the jocks.

However, the student was never one to blend in, which is why she made the big decision to get a makeover for prom. There was no trace of a tomboy in her outfit.
