Although Yannis Gourdon and his team are confident in their theory, it’s fair to say that there are others who are doubting the claim. Kara Cooney, a professor at the University of California, has stated that we need to take this ramp with a pinch of salt.

While it’s a great discovery and one that should definitely be explored further, it’s difficult to tell just how significant the ramp may have been. Until they investigate it more and the research is published, it’s still just another theory that joins the others.
