Archeologists find 4,500-year-old ramp apparently used to build the Giza Pyramids

Although evidence of ramps hasn’t been found elsewhere, the idea that the Ancient Egyptians used ramps is not a new one. Over the years, many archaeologists and historians have suggested that these workers created their own ramps, but not from the quarry.

They suggested that the workers carried or dragged the stones using brute force from the quarry to the pyramid location, but then created ramps around the pyramid in a spiral shape. The ramps would supposedly curve around the exterior, making it easier to place the stones as they got higher up.
