Whether they intended to or not, the fact of the matter is that the Ancient Egyptians did not leave any trace of their methods. Unlike their hieroglyphs and their writing on papyrus and they did not give any inclination as to how they cut the giant blocks of stone and alabaster.

They didn’t even let us in on how they moved the stone from the quarry to the pyramid location, or how they managed to get them to great heights. Despite many trying to understand how the Great Pyramid came to be, we’re still none of the wiser.
