Archeologists find 4,500-year-old ramp apparently used to build the Giza Pyramids

While we don’t think we’ll ever learn why Khufu was deemed to be above his predecessors and successors, experts are learning more about how the Great Pyramid, and other pyramids, were built during this time. Without mechanical diggers or tools that we would use to build constructions today, it seems impossible that Ancient Egyptians would be able to move giant slabs of rock and alabaster with their bare hands.

Much debate has shrouded this question, and many people have come up with their own answers. However, a recent archaeological discovery may have put an end to the speculation. After finding a large ramp leading up towards the Great Pyramid, it seems as though we now know how the Egyptians transported their materials.
