Archeologists find 4,500-year-old ramp apparently used to build the Giza Pyramids

[post_page_title]A few theories[/post_page_title]
Through archeological digs, experts have discovered that the Ancient Egyptians used two types of rock to make their pyramids. They built the inside walls and structures using soft slabs of alabaster, while they used much harder, heavier rock to build the outer structure.

Both types of stone would have been extremely heavy for anyone to move, even in today’s day and age. Because of this, many people have come up with various different theories as to how the Egyptians moved the stones, and how they made their way up the giant structures to build the upper halves of the pyramids.
