Facts and secrets about 90-Day Fiancé

90 Day Fiancé is a television series which aired on TLC for the first time on January 12, 2014. The program is a reality show which revolves around long-distance couples. Several couples who have never met before – well, there’s your first secret of the show, seeing as they actually have met previously – meet up and have 90 days to decide whether to terminate or further pursue their relationship. When immigrants visit America, their visa lasts 90 days, so the show sees these couples spending 90 days getting to know each other, to decide whether or not to get married near the end of the three months to obtain their K-1 visa, also known as a Green Card. The show isn’t without its drama and controversy, with partners accusing each other of disloyalty, using them, and lying.
The K-1 visa is a document which simply states that the husband or wife of an American citizen is free to live in the country as a certified citizen. If they do not marry within 90 days of the foreigner’s arrival, they must depart the U.S. The show is based around this legal process, seeing as it allows long-distance couples to meet and potentially start their lives together. However, the show sees more arguments and liars than it does happy couples.
There’s more to the show than we first see, though. Like most television programs, and even movies, TLC and the show’s participants have their fair share of hidden secrets.

Following Mohamed and Danielle’s split during the show, Mohamed was looking for a new woman to marry quickly, in order to get his green card. Danielle continued to threaten Mohamed with deportation all the while he was out looking for a new wife, yet he remained undeterred. Meanwhile, Jorge and Anfisa had recently split up, and Mohamed knew who he wanted.

After the show’s tell all episode, where couples talk – or rather, argue – about their problems, Mohamed supposedly asked the show’s producers if they would allow him to take Anfisa’s number and pursue her instead of his ex-wife, Danielle. We’re not sure what the producers responded or whether he was granted his request, but either way, he went behind Danielle’s back, and Jorge’s for that matter, to get Anfisa’s number.
