If you haven’t noticed, there’s something strange about the way that the women sit during interviews on the show. While many television programs see people sat in interviews in whichever way is comfortable or sat upright in a chair, 90 Day Fiancé has a way that the women must sit, to make them look more casual. During interviews, the women of the show can be seen with their legs up, so that their knees and legs are in view.

Supposedly, according to Anfisa on one of her Instagram posts, this is because TLC and the producers believe that it makes them look more comfortable and relaxed, although we just think it seems remarkably uncomfortable! We can’t even imagine their feet are on the floor! Add this to the list of parts of the show which are scripted, despite it being dubbed a reality show.
