For those who have seen one of the show’s spinoffs, Before The 90 Days, you’ll know Paul. He regularly plays the victim, telling everyone that he had been poorly treated by his ex-girlfriends and that he wanted someone to trust – Karine. He acts shy and friendly throughout the show, but perhaps there’s more to Paul than meets the eye. Many 90 Day Fiancé – and its spinoffs – fans would argue that this was easy to tell from the start.

However, it is confirmed that Paul does, in fact, have somewhat of a criminal record. Paul’s ex-girlfriend got an emergency restraining order against him, and he immediately sent her another text. Though the text was not threatening or rude, he was, of course, breaking the law. He has also been charged with arson. Paul later posed as a woman on Reddit to try and defend himself but was caught out.
