The cast of 90 Day Fiancé and its other versions actually get paid a pittance. Most reality television stars make heaps of money for every episode they appear in, with many earning upwards of $40,000 per episode. While that’s an incredible amount of money which is almost incomprehensible, its most certainly a far cry from what the stars of this particular TLC show get paid. Reality T.V. shows are arguably one of the quickest and easiest roads to fame and wealth, but apparently not for the 90 Day Fiancé cast.

While their reality show counterparts earn thousands of dollars per episode for shouting at their boyfriends, having their 19th child, or avoiding their family, these stars get roughly $7,000 per season – not episode. What’s worse is that the foreign partners in the show don’t get a penny, because the producers are not obliged to pay anyone bar the American citizens.
