Statistically speaking, you can probably find indigenous somewhere in your country, regardless of where you live. Found from the tropics to the subarctic regions, there are actually about 7,000 species of the little critters. The one thing most have in common? Croaking!
But if you hear them calling more than usual, it’s probably a sign it’s about to rain, as croaking is actually the male’s mating call, and frogs lay their eggs in water. Is it the end of the world? Probably not, but it’ll ruin your day out all the same.
