Paris tried to assure her fans that her words were taken out of context. She’d been talking with a friend who’d told her about men infected with the disease who purposely have unprotected intimate relations.
She stated that she was merely expressing her disgust at people who could do such a thing. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time that Paris had rubbed people up the wrong way. Several years earlier, she’d made equally upsetting comments about black people, allegedly saying to Neil Strauss privately, “I would never touch one. It’s gross.” This information was later leaked to LA Weekly.
