“The Simple Life” was just the beginning for Paris. Following its success, the star received plenty more offers for her own shows, with many networks hoping to capitalize on her success.
In 2008, she launched “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF,” a competitive reality series dedicated to finding Paris a new best friend. The show received spin-offs around the world, including versions in the UK and Dubai, and cemented Paris as a star of reality TV. By this point, though, she’d already proven that she had talents in other areas too.
