If people didn’t know that Paris could sing, they were in for a surprise when she released her debut album. The 2006 release “Paris” received mixed reviews from the critics, but it was a commercial success, landing at number six on the Billboard 200.
It spawned the singles “Turn It Up,” “Nothing in This World” and “Stars Are Blind,” the last of which was successful around the world. It peaked in the top ten in countries like Australia, Germany and the UK, while also landing at 18 in the US.
