This person had been running a drive-in movie theater out of the kindness of their hearts, but that wasn’t good enough for some people. The movie theater was free, but the people who came along to watch films were wanting the full movie experience.
The person commenting below understands where this good Samaritan is coming from and has had the same issue at their library. Somehow getting to watch movies for free wasn’t good enough, and these “customers” expected the red carpet to be rolled out for them.
