Following an outstanding college career, he was snapped up by the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987 but only played until 1990.

A hip injury took him out of the sport forever, but by this stage, Jackson was already one of the biggest names in football. After retiring, Jackson made a name for himself as an actor. Despite only playing four seasons in the NFL, and only featuring in one Pro Bowl, Jackson’s shirts are still sold by the Raiders.
