Bo Jackson was one of many special athletes in the NFL, but he was also one who couldn’t live up to the hype. Much was expected of the superstar running back, but his career ended before it got going. Following an outstanding college career, he was snapped up by the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987 but only played until 1990.

A hip injury took him out of the sport forever, but by this stage, Jackson was already one of the biggest names in football. After retiring, Jackson made a name for himself as an actor. Despite only playing four seasons in the NFL, and only featuring in one Pro Bowl, Jackson’s shirts are still sold by the Raiders.
