In many TV shows, there’s this one couple everyone is rooting for. In the comedy mockumentary The Office – it was Jim and Pam.
These two were so well-matched, it was ridiculous, and fans were ecstatic when they finally got together. Unfortunately, all that “will they or won’t they” angst is usually what keeps shows alive, and many fans just gave up on it after all that tension was gone. The fans who kept watching it then became upset, when Jim and Pam had marital problems. You just can’t win sometimes.
