It appears as though diamonds – and sapphires – are Queen Anne’s best friend as both of her engagement rings have featured the gemstones. Her first engagement to Mark Phillips saw her sport a trilogy sapphire and diamond ring.
They married in 1973 before later calling it quits in 1992. Just three months later, Anne was walking down the aisle once again with Timothy Laurence who chose a similar yet different engagement ring for his wife. Thankfully, the second ring appears to have remained in place ever since.
