Growing up wasn’t easy for the model, especially in the shadow of her mother’s addiction, as well as being diagnosed with dyspraxia (a coordination disorder) at a young age.

Cara has opened up about having to deal with anxiety and depression. “I would slam my head against a tree to try to knock myself out,” she said. “I just wanted to dematerialize.” She also believes she got the “addiction gene” from her mother – but she’s turned it around, making herself focus on her career.
