Despite not having the easiest childhood, Cara had big dreams of being an actress. “I wanted to be a Disney Channel star!” She recalled. “I wanted to be Hannah Montana. They said no!”

She also admitted to wanting to be like Jennifer Lopez, an actress and musician. Her sister, Poppy, said she always knew Cara would make it – especially since she’d perform for the family all the time as a child, singing and dancing. Funnily enough, Cara says the last thing she wanted to be was a “model-slash-actress.”
