An unsuspecting couple named Graham and Lizzie from Southampton found there to be an Anderson-shelter in their back garden. It all started when they hired a gardener to help remove an enormous pile of dirt that resided in their backyard, and underneath there was a shelter.

Graham and Lizzie have said it would be a real shame if these types of bunkers are lost for good. They have restored the condition of their bunker and now make the most of it – it is covered in pretty foliage and flowers, and is used for storage. They also use it as a threat of discipline to their children. Brilliant!
