As you might be able to tell by the name, Callan Chythlook-Sifsof is an Alaskan native – the first indigenous Alaskan snowboarder to be a member of the national team, in fact. Callan has been a major player in the snowboarding world since 2005 and has truly made a name for herself as a snowboard cross superstar. To date, Callan’s claim to fame is that she won a silver medal at the 2011 Winter X Games, as well as various other snowboarding accolades. Unfortunately, she will not be competing in this years Olympics.
