The movie wasn’t lying to us – Leigh Anne really did work as an interior designer. You may have noticed in the film, in fact, that Leigh mentioned the football quarterback Patrick Ramsey.
This is because in real life Tuohy actually worked for the aforementioned quarterback, and helped design the inside of his home. Of course only the most dedicated football fans got the connection, but it still made for a fun little hidden easter egg that was certainly based on reality.
