It took quite a lot of work from Oher to raise his grades enough to be considered for an NCAA college football program. At the start of his appraisal, his GPA sat at an incredibly low 0.76 – which would have completely barred him from acceptance into a program.
However, after working hard for so long, Oher was able to raise his GPA to 2.52 by the end of his time in high school – proving that he was academically capable as well as a football whiz.
