It’s no understatement that Oher had to put in a huge amount of work to be eligible to attend the colleges that he wanted to. After raising his GPA, Oher took some online courses with Brigham Young University, to put his grades over the threshold that they needed to reach.
In addition, he worked with a tutor whom he saw for lessons an unbelievable 20 hours a week. One of the most impressive things about Oher is just how far he pushed himself to achieve what he wanted.
