In April of 2009, it came time for the NFL draft – the event at which various NFL teams pick the players that they want. Michael’s hard work and dedication for the last few years had paid off, and he was tipped as one of the most-desired picks of that season.
Oher did in fact come to be one of the top picks for the draft that year – eventually being drafted 23rd out of 256 players, and joining the Baltimore Ravens.
