Matt Camden is the oldest of the Camden children, two years older than the second child Mary. He is often seen doing everything he can to help others, even if it means sneaking around behind his family member’s backs.
In the end, he goes to medical school after having a job in the cafeteria of a hospital and deciding he wants to be a doctor. Matt has a huge heart and ends up keeping his life on track throughout most of the series.
