When Hayden Panettiere was still a young up-and-coming star, she had a recurring role on Malcolm in the Middle. She first appeared in the series’ fourth season as Jessica – Malcolm, Reese, and Dewey’s babysitter who ends up developing a crush on Malcolm.

Following the show, Panettiere got a huge break with her portrayal of cheerleader Claire Bennet on the popular NBC fantasy-drama Heroes.
