Drafted by the Indianapolis Colts with the fourth overall pick in the 1999 draft, James hit the ground running, winning Rookie of the Year honors for his strong performance. “Edge” would go on to have a very good career, setting franchise records for the Colts in rushing attempts, yards, and touchdowns. James finished his career with 12,246 rushing yards, which currently places him 13th on the all-time list. After the 2005 season, he went on to play for several years with the Arizona Cardinals before spending his final season (2009) as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
