Russell Wilson already has a Super Bowl ring. He also had two chances to join an MLB team and chase a World Series ring. The quarterback was first drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2007 draft, but Wilson opted for college football instead, playing at NC State. When he transferred to Wisconsin, another team tried their luck at the quarterback, the Colorado Rockies, and Wilson spent two seasons with their minor league team. Wilson did get a chance to take the field for the Texas Rangers in the Cactus League – a few years back they acquired his rights in the December’s Rule 5 draft – and he played a game against Cleveland.
