The architecturally designed 230 square meter villa itself was created to resemble a hunting lodge, with wood sourced from trees growing in the island’s forest. The home was then constructed using traditional Scandinavian building techniques.
The mini-mansion is situated in an area cleared on the island, with the adjacent forest boasting a variety of wildlife including deer, hares and beavers. Sometimes, even the occasional elk can be spotted. The protected location and dimensions made the home idyllic for hosting, or just for getting away.
