[post_page_title]Dustin Penner on the ice[/post_page_title]
Dustin Penner may be retired from the NHL, but he didn’t leave without making an impact. He actually was never even drafted by an NHL team. His entrance into the league occured in 2004, when he was signed as a free agent by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. The beauty of this story is that although Penner wasn’t even drafted by a team, he ended up helping the Ducks win a Stanley Cup in his first full season, and won another Stanley Cup in 2012 with the LA Kings.
