Before the $7.5 million dollar find blew everything else out of the water, Storage Wars had another contender for the throne of biggest profit. In the third season’s final episode, frequent bidder Darrell Sheets bid $3,600 on a storage locker containing some works of art that he liked the looks of.
Turns out he was right – the artwork turned out to be originals by Frank Gutierrez. Having it appraised, Sheets discovered it was worth $300,000! Not bad for a $3,600 investment, eh?
