Lorenzen had given it his best shot, but it just seemed like playing professional football wasn’t written in the stars for him. Having barely played a game in the NFL, he decided to call it quits on the sport he had shown such a talent for.
It didn’t look possible from his high school career that he would have to call it a day so early, but after battling with several issues, particularly surrounding his weight, few teams saw Lorenzen as a viable option for their team.
