Sandra Bullock’s reservations regarding the role of Leigh Anne Tuohy are well-known, given that she did not think she would be able to play the role properly. However, it seems that this fear of messing up was really getting to Bullock, as it almost caused a major halt in the film’s production.
Part of the way through the filming process Sandra became determined to quit, because she thought she was doing a terrible job with the role. Luckily, director John Lee Hancock was able to convince her to stay.
