The ending of any movie is normally supposed to be happy, with those at home being content with the fact that the whole story can be wrapped up into something extraordinary. However, it’s fair to say that the ending of Freaky Friday is a little different.
Sure, Tess and Anna switch back into their normal bodies, but why are they so calm about everything? They have literally been inside each other’s bodies and lived each other’s lives. If that happened in real life, you wouldn’t be able to look each other in the eye.
