The rest of the day went by, and Kamdyn soon returned home with his sheet in his hand. It was only then that Chris got to learn just what had been happening in the classroom – and this dad was less than impressed. It turned out that Kamdyn had been able to answer 13 questions on the sheet. Many parents and teachers would be overjoyed that he had put in the effort to do as many equations as he could.
Not Kamdyn’s teacher. Apparently, this wasn’t enough to keep her satisfied. In fact, the teacher had written that Kamdyn’s effort was “absolutely pathetic,” and she felt as though Kamdyn should have done a lot more of the work in the time. Chris read and re-read the comments. He couldn’t believe what he was looking at. Did the teacher really think her comments were appropriate?
