This is a whole family dedicated to basketball. Ming though, outdid his parents. His father and mother, Zhiyuan and Fengdi both represented China on the national teams. But neither made it too big. Ming was an international sensation. He averaged 19 points and 9.2 rebounds during his short NBA career. He retired after eight seasons due to injury. Yao Ming was also inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016, it’s hard to beat that.
