Sandy was selected to only a single All Star game, batted a .245 for his career with 1,168 hits and 282 home runs.. Then there’s Roberto, who is a two-time World Series Champ, a 12-time All Star, ten-time Gold Glove winner, four-time Silver Slugger and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011. Also, don’t forget that was another Alomar, but as good as Sandy Jr.’s career was, it wasn’t as good as Roberto’s.
