We’ve covered feuds between athletes, feuds between owners, and some other interesting variations of those. But how about a feud between athletes and musicians?

That’s something we haven’t covered yet, and the time is now to do so. The band Smash Mouth, famous for their hit song “All Star” called out the Oakland A’s on Twitter for their lack of offseason moves, prompting a harsh rebuttal about the band’s declining success. The whole thing was pretty ugly, albeit entertaining.
