Now that Pamela is turning 90, India – who is the youngest of Pamela’s three children – decided that it was a good time to track down the exact location of her mother’s extensive jewel collection – which also included many items from her grandmother Edwina aka Countess Mountbatten of Burma (pictured below).
Her mother, who she describes as “razor sharp” with “no indication of losing her capacity to dazzle an audience with stories from her eventful life” told India that she was absolutely certain she placed the gems in a secure bank vault in London. However, the one piece of information that she couldn’t recall was exactly which vault she had stored her family’s precious heirlooms.
