Success can be a subjective concept, varying from person to person and each different situation. However, for some people, there is no doubt that they have not only succeeded but then pushed those boundaries even further. It can be quite shocking realizing that many A-lister celebrities weren’t born into the glitter and gold; that some of your idols began just like everyone else, except sometimes they had to strive for their next meal or suffered detrimental relationships which likely fuelled their musical passions. The music industry is famously difficult to crack, with many young talents getting rejected due to the saturation of the business. So, some of these celebrities had to follow their dreams at the potential collapse of everything, should they have failed.
Many people enjoy seeing the success of those who have come from humble beginnings, but for some celebrities ‘humble’ would have been a dream, and they probably could never have imagined the success that would grow from that.

Swank had to overcome some seriously tough obstacles before making it big, and even then she had to keep going. By this point the family was already struggling and had moved to a trailer park; however, this made the money situation even worse. It was Swank’s mother who decided to move to Los Angeles, in order to follow her daughter’s dream of acting. For a time they lived out of their car until they had saved enough money for an apartment. Hilary Swank is now a household name, so she definitely got there.
