Kris Kristofferson is well known for his role in Planet of the Apes as well as for his role in the country supergroup The Highwaymen comprised of himself, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings. But before that he was in college, playing all manner of sports including rugby (helping to re-start the Claremont Colleges Rugby Club), track and field, and of course, football. Interestingly, he even received a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford in the UK.
