There seems to be very little parents won’t do for their children. It’s something people who aren’t parents might not be able to fully comprehend. Anyone can have causes they’re passionate about, and that they’re willing to sacrifice a great deal for – free time, money, you name it. Having children, however, is a game changer. For the first time in your life, you’re forced to look outside yourself at this tiny little thing that literally depends on you to live.
Once that mental switch is flipped, there’s no going back – you’re in it for life. But we shouldn’t gloss over how hard parenting is. It’s a multi-ball juggling act at the best of times, and at the worst – those balls are on fire. To make sure your kids don’t end up that way too, you need to always be on your toes. Just don’t be like this dad, who wasn’t quite vigilant when his sons told him an alarming story.

He posted in a Reddit group designated for stories of how people, um, fudged up, but even the forum’s jaded, cynical dwellers felt unprepared for what he was about to unleash. Like we said, parenting is hard, and Plagmoid showed exactly how hard it is when his sons came to him with a disconcerting story.
