The stress of another failed marriage reportedly resurfaced the actress’ substance abuse problems. She’d had issues for years, with Moore apparently almost dropped from the cast of St. Elmo’s Fire in the early ‘80s because of her troubles.
Although she managed to get clean, she spent the next few decades continually having to resist the urge to dip back into her addictions. Her divorce from Kutcher supposedly pushed her over the edge, leading her to seek treatment in 2012 after collapsing at a party. Thankfully, she’s since recovered from that ordeal.
