Ariel had the common predicament that most 16 year old girls face – she wanted to be more independent, without knowing any of the responsibility. Well, by the time ‘The Little Mermaid’ had finished, Ariel definitely learned what it meant to make sacrifices. This woman got the costume right, and even included a dinglehopper – what this little mermaid thought humans called forks -as a part of her ensemble. No matter what you call it, this costume is made all of the better for including it.
