funny-business aside, Maroney won an Olympic silver medal during the 2012 London games and took home a gold in the Women’s Team All-Around Event. Sadly, after the 2012 games, Maroney had a chronic injury place her out of the competitive gymnastics arena. She still commentates from time to time but her gymnastics days are behind her. These days, Maroney is busy transitioning into the world of Hollywood, making cameo appearances on shows like Heart of dixie and Bones.
